Winnipeg police are searching for a group of suspects following an armed robbery Monday at a McPhillips Street hotel.
At around 2 a.m. on Dec.1, four masked suspects armed with handguns walked into the lobby of a hotel in the 1-99 block of McPhillips Street and began threatening the front desk employee. They also damaged property and broke into a cash register before fleeing the hotel with an undisclosed amount of money.
No injuries were reported.
The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation. No arrests have been made.
