Children and their families stuck in the hospital this holiday season received a special visit from some Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Nic Demski, Chris Kolankowski, and Patrick Neufeld made a stop at HSC’s Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, making sure each child they visited felt special.

“We’re sending huge bear hugs to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for stopping by HSC_Winnipeg Children’s Hospital to make the holidays a little brighter for kids and their families!” said the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. “Special visits like these mean so much to them, and we’re so grateful for your generosity and time. Thank you for making a difference!”

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will begin their 2026/27 season on the road in Calgary on June 5 with a game against the Stampeders.

They will return home on June 11 for their home opener against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
