UPDATE: Highway 75, from Morris to Highway 100 is now reponed.
This closure was due to poor winter driving conditions, due to ice covered roads.
Previously
Icy conditions have led to the closure of Highway 75 late Saturday afternoon.
Just after 3 p.m., the province announced they had shut down the busy highway from Morris to the perimeter.
It is unclear how long the road closure will remain in effect.
The province is reminding motorists that closure gates and message signs may not be present at closure locations.
Motorists are asked to avoid the highway and find another route.
