Winnipeg Animal Services is asking for help in collecting some much-needed items as we head into the holidays.
The shelter is running low on several different supplies, and volunteers say donations are especially crucial as the shelter prepares for the winter season.
The holiday wish list includes: laundry soap, slip leads, shampoo for dogs, hot dogs, 6ft leashes, martingales, kongs, enrichment items and toys.
The donations will not only help the shelter keep up with their needs, but also allow some special treats for the pets this holiday season.
Donations can be dropped off at Winnipeg Animal Services at 1057 Logan Avenue, Monday to Friday, 12 to 6 p.m. and weekends, 12 to 5 p.m.
