A residential parking ban put in place over the weekend following two Alberta Clippers has been lifted.
“We thank all Winnipeggers for their patience and cooperation,” said the city of Winnipeg in a press release.
Crews worked around the clock since Sunday evening, clearing priority 2 and side streets.
Any missed streets can be reported to 311. Crews will address any missed streets in the coming days.
With the residential parking ban now over, the annual winter route parking ban has resumed, prohibiting parking on designated streets daily from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m.
“We remind residents to watch for temporary no-parking signs,” said the city. “These help when operations need the full roadway width.”
Vehicles parked in violation may be ticketed and towed.
