A 57 year old semi driver from Winnipeg died as a result of a semi-pedestrian collision Saturday afternoon on Highway 75 near St. Jean.
According to RCMP, Morris detachment officers responded to the call at 1pm. Upon arrival, they located the victim laying in the median ditch, and two semi-trucks stopped in the southbound lane of Highway 75.
Upon further investigation, it was determined the driver of one of the semi-trucks was struck by the other semi while he was on the highway.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the other semi-truck, a 33-year-old man from Winnipeg, was uninjured.
Morris RCMP continue to investigate.
