Those wanting to see wildlife up close at the Assiniboine Park & Zoo will have to wait a little bit longer as the annual zoo closure has been extended.
Assiniboine Park & Zoo posted on social media on Thursday saying, “Earlier this week, we experienced an unexpected maintenance issue in the Tundra Grill and Polar Playground.”
Due to the unexpected maintenance, the annual closure has been extended an additional week, until Friday, January 16.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Zoo on Saturday, January 17.”
