A fire on Tuesday evening sent one person to hospital.
The blaze broke out around 8 p.m. in the Hampshire Court apartment of the Courts of St. James on Ronald Street near Portage Avenue.
Smoke was coming from the building when crews arrived, and a fire was located on the eighth floor of the complex.
Firefighters were able to quickly put it out, while residents of the apartment complex sheltered in place.
One person was taken to hospital in stable condition.
There is no word on a cause.
Fire officials continue to investigate.
