Winnipeg Police investigate attempted child luring on Kinver Avenue

An investigation has begun by the Winnipeg Police Service’s Child Abuse Unit after some children playing outside were approached by an unknown vehicle in the 100 block of Kinver Avenue.


An investigation has begun by the Winnipeg Police Service’s Child Abuse Unit after some children playing outside were approached by an unknown vehicle in the 100 block of Kinver Avenue.

Around 5 p.m. on February 25, the school-aged children ran home and told a parent that a man in a light-coloured vehicle, either a van, truck or SUV, pulled up beside them and offered them money and a ride.

The male suspect has been described with a brown complexion. The suspect may have been wearing a mask. The vehicle was last seen moving westbound down Kinver.
