Rain and freezing rain overnight created treacherous driving conditions on some Manitoba highways Thursday morning.
As a result, a few busy routes were temporarily closed, including Highway 1, from the Perimeter Highway to Portage la Prairie and Highway 2, from Perimeter to Road 12 West.
Both highways have since reopened, and conditions are expected to continue to improve throughout the morning rush.
