A collision near Whiteshell Provincial Park earlier this month has claimed the life of a 27-year-old woman.
Whitemouth RCMP say they were called to the single-vehicle crash at around 6:25 a.m. on Dec. 6 on Highway 307, just north of the junction of Highway 44 in the Whiteshell Provincial Park.
Officers found the vehicle in the west side ditch, with the female driver lying outside.
She was transported to hospital via Stars with life-threatening injuries, where she later died.
It is unclear as to when the collision actually occurred. Investigators believe it was between the hours of 3:15 a.m., when she was last seen and 6:15 a.m., when she was found.
The investigation is ongoing.
