The Headingley RCMP says a missing youth who was believed to be in Winnipeg has been found safe.
The 14-year-old girl was last seen the morning of February 26, leaving school in Winnipeg, but did not return home to Headingley that evening.
Mounties sent out a release on Friday asking for help in locating the girl. They said at the time the teen had been in contact with their caregiver via online messaging, but efforts to physically locate her had not been successful.
On Sunday, just after 1:30 p.m., the RCMP sent out a release saying the teen had been found.
The RCMP thanked the public for their assistance.
