Perimeter Highway reopens after two crashes Tuesday morning

Update 2:

As of 12:20 p.m., the eastbound lanes of Highway 101, from Pipeline Road to McPhillips Street, have reopened.

Update 1: 

As of 11:25 a.m. the westbound lanes of the South Perimeter from Highway 330 to Highway 2 have reopened. 

The eastbound lanes of the Perimeter Highway from Pipeline Road to McPhillips Street remain closed.

Previously:

Two separate collisions have shut down sections of the Perimeter Highway.

As of 11 a.m., the westbound lanes of the south Perimeter from Highway 330 to Highway 2 are now closed.

A second crash has also shut down the eastbound lanes of the Perimeter Highway from Pipeline Rd. to McPhillips St.

There is no word on injuries or a cause at this time.

It is unclear how long the closures will last. 

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and find another route.
