City crews are busy Sunday clearing snow left behind following a brief snowstorm Saturday evening.
The work started around noon today, with plows out cleaning up streets, sidewalks and pathways.
Work will be based on the street priority system, with crews starting with Priority 1 roads, sidewalks, active transportation paths and Priority 2 roads.
Motorists are encouraged to drive to the conditions and use extreme caution when near heavy equipment.
Meanwhile, the annual winter route parking ban is in effect. There is no parking between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. on streets designated as winter routes. Those parked in violation may be ticketed and towed.
Winter routes are marked by signage. They can also be found by downloading the Know Your Zone app, searching the interactive snow map, or by contacting 311.
There are no plans to clear residential streets at this time.
