Thanks to the generosity of Winnipeggers, the Christmas Cheer Board has officially concluded their hamper deliveries for the 2025 holiday season.

“Over the weekend, we had an overwhelming show of support from drivers across the city, who showed up and helped us get over 4,000 hampers out for delivery,” said Shawna Bell, Executive Director, Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg, in an email.

As of this morning, 350 remained, but with volunteer drivers arriving, they expect the remaining hampers to be delivered quickly.

“On behalf of the Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg, thank you to everyone for helping get our message out this season. We wish you the absolute best this holiday season and look forward to what 2026 has in store for everyone!”

This year, thanks to the help of over 400 volunteers, the Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg was able to pack nearly 10,000 hampers.
