Warning for parents: Gerber arrowroot biscuits recalled due to potential foreign objects

A popular brand of cookies, often served to toddlers and younger children have been recalled. 

Nestle Canada announced Tuesday that it had recalled Gerber brand arrowroot biscuits due to the possible presence of pieces of soft plastic or paper. 

The arrowroot biscuits come in a 155-gram bag and include the following batch codes and best-before dates:

  • 5231565504 BB 2026 No 18
  • 5232565504 BB 2026 No 19
  • 5233565504 BB 2026 No 20

The affected products were sold across Canada, and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency is asking people not to eat, use, sell or serve the recalled products. 

No injuries or illnesses have been reported to the CFIA.

Anyone with the biscuits in their pantry is encouraged to throw them out or return them to the retailer where they were purchased.
