Those looking for swimming and skating lessons this winter will soon be able to register. 

The City of Winnipeg has announced the 2026 Leisure Guide is now available for viewing online for the public to plan their winter activities.

Registration for winter swimming and skating lessons opens on Tuesday. Dec. 16 at 8 a.m. for Winnipeg residents and Thursday Dec. 18 at 8 a.m. for non-residents.

The City has shared a few ways that registration can be completed. It can be done online at City of Winnipeg – leisureONLINE, by calling 311, in person at our registration centre, Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex, 999 Sargent Avenue, on December 16 only between 8 a.m. – noon, in person at 395 Main Street and Accès–Access Saint-Boniface, 170 Goulet Street (French service available at both locations) or in person at any City indoor pool during regular operating hours (French service available at Margaret Grant Pool)

For those individuals who are planning to register using leisureONLINE, it is strongly encouraged to double check that you are able to successfully log in to the online account before registration opens. If any difficulty arises, individuals are advised to call 311.
