J. Kent Emison, a renowned trial attorney and Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, is set to speak at the ‘Winning Truck Wreck Cases’ Seminar in Indianapolis. Emison, who has taken a case to the U.S. Supreme Court and is a founding partner of Langdon & Emison, will share his expertise on ‘Collision Mitigation Product Liability Claims: Finding Additional Recoveries for Your Clients’ during the morning session on August 4, 2025.
The seminar, co-chaired by David W. Craig and Scott A. Faultless of Craig, Kelley & Faultless and presented by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, will take place at the Embassy Suites Noblesville Indianapolis Conference Center. Registration for the event is available on the ITLA website.
With over 30 years of experience advocating for injured individuals and their families, Emison’s presentation is highly anticipated. His dedication to his clients has earned him numerous accolades, including being named ‘Lawyer of the Year’ in 2018 for personal injury plaintiff’s litigation in the Kansas City metro area by Best Lawyers in America, and receiving the Thomas G. Strong Trial Attorney Award in 2017 from the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
This marks the second year Craig and Faultless have organized the seminar, both of whom are board-certified in truck accident law and serve on the Board of Regents of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. Their efforts, along with Emison’s participation, underscore the seminar’s importance in advancing legal knowledge and strategies in truck accident litigation.
