Winnipeg Jets alumni share condolences as Dean Kennedy’s wife dies

A former player with the Winnipeg Jets is mourning the death of his wife. 

Dean Kennedy played 172 games with the Jets over three seasons from 1991 until 1994. 

On Wednesday, Ray Neufeld, President and Alumni Ambassador of Winnipeg Jets Alumni and Friends, said on social media, “On behalf of the Winnipeg Jets Alumni and Friends community, we are saddened to hear the loss of your wife Tammy.”

The team offered thoughts and prayers to Kennedy. “Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.”
